What should I do with my pie when it arrives?

Your pie is shipped frozen using dry ice and should arrive to you frozen.  Upon arrival, you can place your pie directly in the freezer if you're not planning to eat it right away (key lime pie stores in the freezer incredibly well!), or you can put your pie in the refrigerator to thaw and enjoy. Just keep in mind that key lime pie should be eaten within 6 days if stored in the refrigerator. For best results, keep your pie covered with the provided clear dome lid.

How long should I thaw my frozen key lime pie?

Your pie can be thawed at room temperature for 30 minutes, or you can thaw your pie in the refrigerator for 4 hours.

Can I eat frozen key lime pie?

Absolutely!  If you prefer a frozen treat, you can eat your pie directly from the freezer. 

How long does key lime pie last in the refrigerator?

We recommend eating your pie within 6 days if you are storing in the fridge.  Keep your key lime pie covered with the provided dome lid while refrigerating.

How long can I keep key lime pie frozen?

Key Lime Pie freezes incredibly well!  You can keep your pie in the freezer for up to 6 months. Be sure to keep your pie covered with the provided dome lid and additional plastic wrap to keep it air tight.

How long can I keep key lime pie out of the refrigerator?

We recommend leaving your pie pie out at room temperature for no longer than 4 hours.

Can I re-freeze my key lime pie?

Yes. You can re-freeze key lime pie. Be sure to keep your pie covered with the provided dome lid and additional plastic wrap to keep it air tight.

Are there any allergens in Coastal Key Lime Pies?

Yes, our regular key lime pies contain dairy, gluten, coconut, and soy.  If you ordered our gluten free mini key lime pie, these contain dairy and coconut.
